We really enjoyed designing the maze.
We had to visit lots of other mazes in order to discover just what makes for the
most fun. Too big and it gets boring, too
small and there is no challenge. You should be out of it in 15-20 minutes.
After studying lots of books we enlisted the help of our
nephew, David, who is excellent at design, and he came up with our plan.
We used Cypress Lawsons for the hedges because of its dense and tidy growth. At
6 ½ ft high you can’t cheat by looking over the top to find your way.
We think it’s
just right, and if you get lost there is
usually a child around to help you out! |
